About the Role
 

We provide our clients with a comprehensive view of strategic communications that leverages our integrated suite of services, including financial communications, corporate reputation, transaction communications and public affairs in all the major markets around the world.

 
What You’ll Do

  • Assist with client counsel on all aspects of their communications programmes
  • Provide input into and draft various communications materials for client programmes across our different offerings of corporate communications, public affairs and financial communications areas (e.g. communications strategies, press releases, client memos, stakeholder and issues mapping, and briefing documents). 
  • Deliver high-quality work within project teams.
  • Under guidance and supervision, lead various tasks related to corporate communications and media relations engagements ranging from executive profiling and brand positioning to issues and crisis management and top-tier media engagement.
  • Assist senior team members in developing new business initiatives (e.g. conducting research on prospects, developing strategic approaches and ideas, reviewing PowerPoint presentations and proposals, etc.).
  • Actively contribute to both internal and client meetings by offering strategic and creative insights.
  • Maintain a self-driven passion to stay abreast of client issues and related industry trends, participate in industry networking events and inform team leaders of potential new business opportunities.
How You’ll Grow

  • Opportunity to learn and implement a full range of strategic communications services including performing industry research and analysis, executing corporate communications, financial communications, media relations and issues management activities, and writing client materials.
  • Receiving coaching from senior leaders on the team
Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher. Majors in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration or a similar field will be a plus but is not necessary.
  • Preferably possess 4-6 years (Consultant) or 6-9 years (Senior Consultant) of relevant communications experience in a communications consultancy or a corporation. Experience in corporate or financial communications will be a plus. 
  • Fluency in English required, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Social and eager to learn, and have an ability to work well within a team.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with senior team members and the client in demanding, deadline-driven situations. 
  • Ability to present to small groups, internally and externally
  • A collegiate and collaborative team player that also has the ability to work independently, take initiative and set priorities.
  • A collegiate approach to working in a diverse team across the Asia region and also globally to handle requests from international clients.
  • An aptitude and desire for learning and ongoing development.
More experienced candidates will be considered for the position of Senior Consultant.
