About the Role:
We provide our clients with a comprehensive view of strategic communications that leverages our integrated suite of services, including financial communications, corporate reputation, transaction communications and public affairs in all the major markets around the world.
We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to join our growing FTI Consulting Strategic Communications in France team. With 2 + years’ experience, the chosen candidate will join the Paris based team of 20 consultants.
The position will involve daily contact with a portfolio of international clients as well as with the offices in the FTI international network
(Europe, Americas, Asia, Oceania).Under the responsibility of a manager, you will be part of a team dedicated to corporate communications, with a particular focus on media relations and social media.

What You'll Do:
•The development and implementation of communication strategies in diverse contexts: corporate image building, CEO / ExCo profiling, issue management, transactions, litigation, influence campaigns, etc.
•Relationship management with a portfolio of clients in sectors including Healthcare, Energy, Financial Services, Technology, Transportation
•Monitor the evolution of your clients’ reputation and develop communications strategies in response to emerging opportunities and risks. Devise media and social media strategies with your manager and handle media relations with a specific focus on business and financial media
•Develop core communications materials including messaging, press releases, statements,talking points/Q&A, presentations and Op’Eds
•Participate in business development: identify opportunities, perform desktop research, develop recommendation drafts and participate in pitches

Qualifications and experience:
•Excellent general knowledge, strong interest in economic and political news
•A capacity to adapt rapidly to new and complex situations
•Excellent oral and written communications skills in both French and English
•Successful track record in working with business and finance journalists
•Good understanding of digital strategies and ability to manage social media
•Rigour, curiosity, reliability and sense of initiative
•Team orientated mindset, positive interpersonal skills
•Master’s degree level from Master / Sciences Po / Ecole de commerce or similar
•2 + years’ experience in delivering international corporate and media campaigns in a consultancy environment or in the communications department of an international group
