About the Role

We work with corporations, governments and law firms to meet legal, regulatory and investigative demands by leveraging our skills to enable our clients to more confidently govern, secure, find, analyze and rapidly understand their data in the context of compliance and risk.


What You'll Do

  • Lead and deliver high quality client engagements across the privacy domain
  • Lead the creation and implementation of data privacy programs at existing and new clients (e.g. Strategic management – strategy, visioning, scope and structure to operational execution - DPIAs execution, Data Subject Rights request response, consent management)
  • Possess deep experience in risk management and control implementation efforts, and leading privacy maturity assessments and risk assessments
  • Develop methodologies to be used in privacy engagements/initiatives/projects and contribute to the development of new methodologies
  • Lead data breach response planning and playbook development
  • Manage creation/editing of final client deliverables
  •  Develop proposals, pitch materials and business cases

  

How You'll Grow

  • Build and cultivate client relationships while expanding our client portfolio
  • Work collaboratively with internal team members and external client stakeholders to deliver high-quality work product  
  • Mentor and develop junior team members


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data privacy or other relevant experience
  • Credentials in the privacy or security domain (e.g. CIPP, CIPT, CIPM, CISSP)
  • Strong comprehension of global data privacy risk management and regulatory compliance
  • Outstanding client service in demanding, deadline-driven situations
  • Knowledge of privacy enabling technology and broader enterprise IT frameworks
  • Juris Doctorate or other relevant Master’s Degree is a plus
