About the Role


We work with corporations, governments and law firms to meet legal, regulatory and investigative demands by leveraging our skills to enable our clients to more confidently govern, secure, find, analyse and rapidly understand their data in the context of compliance and risk.

This Senior Consultant EDC role is a newly created position within our fast growing Paris office and is
a part of FTI’s Forensic Technology team which encompasses 500 experts globally. The Senior Consultant EDC will be cross-trained in various eDiscovery skills and will assist on all phases of
eDiscovery projects with primary focus on eDiscovery platform consulting.

What You'll Do

 

The primary responsibilities of this position is to be part of a cross-functional team that manages all areas related to the collection, processing, analysis, review and production of client’s data within
litigation and investigation matters:

 

• Provide day-to-day support to clients, law firms and in-house legal teams, on our eDiscovery
platforms (Relativity and Ringtail) including database set up, searches and reporting.
• Advise clients on the best use of our technologies including advanced analytics and predictive
coding techniques, in order to reach their objectives ;
• Assume responsibility for day-to-day management of projects and other specialised tasks
which could include data collection, processing, transformation data analysis.
• Ensure quality and consistency of the processes according to clients’ instructions and FTI’s
best practices.
• Be customer-service-oriented to meet client deadlines.
• Travel as required to ensure effective management of case activities (Minimal notice
possible).
• Participate in marketing and business development initiatives in order to promote FTI’s
services.

 


 

Qualifications & Experience

•Masters Degree in computer science, IT, technology or equivalent experience.


EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:


Essential:

 

• Prior experience in the Forensic Technology / eDiscovery sector
• Technically savvy with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows and related software,
especially Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Self-developer that demonstrates an ability to solve complex problems with well thought out
innovative solutions.
• Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Good communicator who can perform in a client facing role.
• Flexible with working hours and has the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
• Fluent in English and French. Any other European language is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support the team’s goals above individual
goals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while handling multiple tasks
through completion.

 

Preferred:

 

• Prior experience as an administrator of Relativity review platform.
• Familiarity with digital forensic tools like Encase, FTK, Nuix, Cellebrite.
• Any Relativity certification is a plus.
· Data analytics skills, including languages such as SQL and Python.
