We are seeking professionals with experience in one or more of the following areas: claims and litigation advisory services, and dispute resolution, scheduling and schedule analysis, construction management, construction contracts administration, project controls advisory services, project management, construction cost estimating, capital budgeting.
What You'll Do
A Director will be leading/working as part of a team to assist clients through complex issues as related to the construction industry. Services provided will include both project advisory support as well as dispute resolution related to large, complex construction projects. Primary duties include:
- Provide analysis and preparation of construction claims, CPM schedules and/or construction cost information
- Perform dispute related analyses such as delay, impact, differing site conditions, cost and damage as well as lost productivity analyses
- Prepare labor productivity studies
- Perform detailed project and program reviews for large capital programs
- Provide assistance and oversight of large capital projects and programs Implement or assist with corrective action plans related to the “recovery” of large capital projects
- Oversee processes for the successful execution and management of large capital projects
How You'll Grow
- You’ll gain experience in communication and presentation skills
- You’ll gain efficiencies in maintaining detailed working paper records of reflecting assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information employed during the performance of tasks
- You’ll be involved in presentations and quantitative exhibits for third parties to provide updates and/or present findings
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management or related.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in the construction industry or a related profession Experience in capital projects management, construction claims and critical path method (CPM) scheduling experience.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), mathematical, and organizational skills
- Proficient knowledge of PC environment and related software including Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access, Primavera (P6), Bluebeam, and Tableau.
